Course introduction

Ryslinge Innovation Folkhighschool is based in the middle of Denmark on an island named Fyn. The School offers an amazing opportunity for people from all over the world who want to become innovation managers, start up businesses, make projects, events or experience something new.
You could be one of these!

Through an interdisciplinary program combining courses about Creative processes, Visual communication, Innovation and Entrepreneurship you will learn about the entrepreneurial process and history of innovation in Denmark and all over the world.

 

You will also experience how ideas, inventions, talents, and skills are developed and transformed into commercial and social ventures. At the same time, the program requires the students to learn about creativity and the creative process in their own disciplines or fields.

 

With its focus on creativity in all fields, from the sciences, through music and culture, to engineering, this course can serve as a complement to many principal subjects. Teaching the students those business and entrepreneurial skills they need to turn their ideas and talents into real ventures, and providing them with social and historical visions of innovation and its extensive impact on economies, cultures, and societies.

 

An interdisciplinary course working with students to tailor their coursework so it suits their own interests and identifies research and internship opportunities.
Each half year Ryslinge Innovation Folkhighschool unite 20-30 people from every corner of the globe, to live under the same roof and learn, sleep, eat, party and have fun together for 16 unique weeks.
